Who this covers
Sleepy Swindles is a YouTube channel. This policy covers this website and the “sleepyswindles” Google API application, a private tool used only by the operator of the Sleepy Swindles channel to view that channel’s own statistics.
This website
This website does not use cookies, analytics or tracking, and does not collect any personal information. Fonts are loaded from Google Fonts, which may log standard request data under Google’s own privacy policy.
The Google API application
The application requests read-only access to YouTube data through the YouTube Data API and the YouTube Analytics API, using these scopes:
youtube.readonly— to read the channel’s name, subscriber count and its videos’ titles and public statistics;yt-analytics.readonly— to read the channel’s own analytics, such as views, watch time and subscribers gained.
It cannot upload, edit or delete anything, and it is only ever connected to the Sleepy Swindles channel by its operator.
How the data is used and stored
- The data is used only to show the channel’s performance in a private dashboard for the channel operator.
- Access tokens and the statistics are stored only on the operator’s own computer. They are not stored on any server we run, not shared with, sold or transferred to anyone, and not used for advertising.
- The application’s use of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
Removing access
Access can be revoked at any time from your Google Account at myaccount.google.com/permissions. When access is revoked, the stored tokens stop working and the statistics are no longer updated; they can be deleted from the operator’s computer at any time.
Viewers of the channel
We do not collect personal information about people who watch Sleepy Swindles. Your use of YouTube is covered by Google’s Privacy Policy.
